who am I kidding?

I thought I'd better take down the wintry banner I had up. It's like 67 degrees outside, and this is my footwear choice for the day. There are no lonely, snowy country lanes anywhere near me... and I'm very OK with that.

I love your new banner. It is so pretty.

Thanks for the comment on my blog. You are right that there were some people who I think could totally relate to the pjs escapades of the Hooper clan. One friend of mine said her kids pointed out to her that Danny was in pjs. I told Denise that Danny would be getting punished so she could tell her kids so they wouldn't think they could get away with it too. But she said no, that actually she has threatened her kids that she would take them to church in their pjs if they didn't get ready on time. This would be a punishment for them (too bad Danny doesn't give a rat's patooty about looking funny at church) and them seeing Danny in his pajamas was a sort of warning that it could happen to them too. That cracked me up. Hey, if my kid's misbehavior fuels another kid's good behavior, I guess something good came of it, huh?

All I can say to that is- you are so lucky! It was 28 degrees this morning with dropping temps today!

Rub it in! I just finished shoveling my driveway from the surprise blizzard we had this morning. :)

Love the color of your toes. We expect a high of 71 today... it's so NICE!!! I love not living in snow.

Wow! It was 5 degree here. I believe wind chill was like negative 15 or something....oh, you are missing out the fun ;) My choice of footwear lately is a water-proof winter boots with sheep skin looking warmer thingy inside. I'm glad you have good weather down there. You deserve it after all the summer hurricanes. It's our turn to have severe weather here, I guess.
BTW, I love your new banner. You always find those cool stuff, and you have a very good taste in things. Hope you are feeling better. Enjoy the weather for us!
