brokeback mountain

ok, I don't have a problem with this movie existing, but I saw the trailer 3 times last night, and if I'm not mistaken, it is being touted as a love story [no problem there; it is a love story], but ALL of the clips involving 2 people hugging/touching were between the cowboys and their wives. I think that's a bit misleading. Some poor granny out there is going to think it's a good ol' fashioned western love story and be a little shocked, I think.

I don't have any problem with the moving being made or shone either. On the other hand, I don't have any desire to use 2 of my free hours to see a love story about 2 male cowboys.

Aside from all that, YOU ARE RIGHT!: showing misleading advertisements is not fair to the unsuspecting!

the movie showed sex between 2 men but also some pretty intense scenes (but very real and authentic and well acted) between men & women.

I didn't love the movie, but I didn't hate it either. I couldn't respect either gay cowboy, but for different reasons...
