I know what you're thinking... you just wish your kitchen looked like this right now. Word to the wise: don't paint your kitchen avocado green unless you are 100% certain that you will always love avocado green. Or just break down and buy the freaking Martha Stewart brand so you can be sure about the color... and not have to prime and repaint 2 years later.

Yes- I've hated the color of my kitchen for 5 years- but after painting the whole house before we moved in, I've been loathe to pick up a paintbrush! Good luck with the painting!
I love your dark cupboards and light countertop. Your post last year about the pipe cleaner dolls brought me to your blog. I'm going to do some for my Christmas tree this year. Good luck with the painting :P
I hear ya - I'm trying to get up the guts to repaint my tomato-soup-red kitchen. Wonder how many coats of primer that will take.... Can't wait to see the new color! (And I love your dark cupboards too!)
