An informal, unofficial, and certainly not mandatory poll. I've had more than a few people tell me lately that I look sad all the time. These kind of comments come my way from time to time, and I just have to ask, all of you, friends and family... do I really look sad all/most of the time? I think it's just the natural cast of my face (unfortunately)-- what do you think?

I don't ever remember thinking that about you. :-) The look I've seen a lot is the look of a thinker/ponderer.
Isn't it funny how people perceive us, though? I have had more than one person comment about how I seem so "at ease" and I "go with the flow" and that I seem "relaxed & mellow" and the like... if they only knew(!) - it's pretty much the opposite - I actually have to consciously make an effort to relax most of the time! Now that's sad.
I have never once thought that about you -- in fact as I close my eyes and think of when we have seen each other you are most often smiling or laughing (maybe I am just very entertaining???) the only other expression I can think of is you with pursed lips nodding your head slightly while one of your boys is doing something not so memorable and muttering "nice . . . mm nice"
I wouldn't say sad. I might say thoughtful...thinking about something interesting.
I would think you've got some sly comment in your head you're dying to let out. But not sad.
Or maybe you couldn't figure out what a silly girl I was... how did you put up with me and my twitterpated, naive stage?!
I have to totally agree with Queen Scarlett- even when you aren't smiling, there is always a hint of what you are thinking.
