If I had the ingredients, I think I would be tempted to make this cake like right NOW at 8:30 in the evening. But, I know I would scarf it down in enormous, nauseating amounts, so I guess it is good I don't have any whipping cream on hand. <BR/><BR/>You are a genius. I love the idea of using toasted almonds. Now I am trying to think of an opportunity in which to make this cake. It will have to be when I have a few more people to feed than just Bil and I. Hmmmm....it almost makes me want to host a party.
